The gross international reserves of Kyrgyzstan at the end of February 2023 amounted to $2 billion 545 million 520 thousand. Of these, the liquid part of the reserves is $2 billion 465 million 830 thousand. Such data is reported by the portal "Akchabar" with a reference to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan.
Compared to a month earlier, when the reserves of Kyrgyzstan were estimated at $2 billion 749 million 990 thousand, they decreased by $204 million 470 thousand, and the liquid part - by $203 million 150 thousand.
In February 2023, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan entered the foreign exchange market three times with intervention, in which it sold a total of $122 million 920 thousand. The intervention of the main regulator is carried out in order to balance the foreign exchange market of Kyrgyzstan.
Currently, $1 is equal to 87.4 Kyrgyz soms.
