About 40% of all goods sold in Kyrgyzstan are produced in Russia, Russian trade representative in Kyrgyzstan Aynur Samanov said, Asia-today.news reports.
Under the current conditions, Russian products are in demand in Kyrgyzstan, as they are of good quality and affordable cost. Most of all, food products, agricultural and specialized equipment, cosmetics, as well as building materials are purchased in Russia, Samanov said.
According to the Russian trade representative, Kyrgyzstan is an attractive country for Russian business. Work is underway to actively promote the interests of Russian and Kyrgyz companies that plan to implement joint projects.
