Military experts from the UK, the US and Hungary visited Kazakhstan, Zakon.kz reports.
The trip was made within the framework of the 2011 Vienna Document on confidence and security-building measures, the Kazakh Defense Ministry explained.
On an army aviation helicopter, the inspection team of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, with the participation of inspectors from the United States and Hungary, flew around the inspected area, visited the capital's air assault brigade and 610 air base in the Karaganda region.
The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan said that the inspection took place in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and cooperation. The Multinational Inspection Team expressed its gratitude to the accompanying team of the Center for Arms Control and Inspection Support of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan for their assistance in conducting it.
Military inspectors noted the high professional level of Kazakhstani specialists and conscientious fulfillment by Kazakhstan of international obligations in the field of arms control.
