Uzbekistan invites the forum of heads of regions of Central Asia and China in the second half of 2023, Sputnik reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan.
The initiative of Uzbekistan was announced by the head of the Uzbek ministry Laziz Kudratov at the first online meeting of the space responsible for foreign economic and foreign trade activities "Central Asia - China". According to Kudratov, it is important to continue work on deepening interregional development.
“If successful, it was proposed to hold a forum of the heads of the regions of Central Asia and China in the second half of the year in Uzbekistan in the event of an emergence between the business community and the discovery of new points of growth,” the MIPT website said in a statement.
Kudratov also noted that it is necessary to develop system solutions to ensure the observed cargo flow and the development of cross-border logistics networks between the Central Asian countries and the PRC.
Another initiative concerned the development of a program for the development of the economy and trade in the economic sphere. It provides for the creation of a joint platform of the intellectual Silk Road based on the IT parks of the countries of the region.
