Four films from Kazakhstan entered the final of the British film festival V Eurasian Film Festival (ECG FF), Zakon.kz reports.
The film Barn will compete for the victory in the nomination "Best Short Film", directed by Ramazan Khaliolla, in the nomination "Best Documentary" films Awakening of a sleeping beauty will be presented, directed by Aқbobek Tөlzhanova and Segiz, directed by Almas Maksut, in the nomination "Best Eurasian Cinema" (Grand Prix) film The Crying Steppe, directed by Marina Kunarova.
Each of these films is a unique story about the life and culture of Kazakhstan.
“We wish all the participants of the festival good luck and hope that Kazakh cinema will continue to delight us with new masterpieces,” commented Anna Lari, director of the festival.
